In 2001, Dean Hanley founded Dean's Cards, an online seller of sports cards and magazines. The company sells 100 years worth of baseball, football, basketball, hockey, and non-sports cards and offers thousands of back issues of Sports Illustrated, Sports Magazine, Baseball and Football Digest as well as vintage team yearbooks and media guides. Hanley is himself an avid collector of sports cards and memorabilia.
