Jamie Hummingbird is gaming commission director for the Cherokee Nation. During his tenure, Hummingbird has served on two National Indian Gaming Commission advisory committees and is currently chairman of the National Tribal Gaming Commissioners and Regulators Association. Hummingbird was honored by the National Indian Gaming Association in 2006 with the Bruce Longhorn Leadership in Regulation award. Hummingbird is currently serving his second term as Chairman of the National Tribal Gaming Commissioners/Regulators Association. He earned his bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University.
