Felicia Brown, LMBT
Felicia is the owner of Spalutions!, a firm that provides continuing education, business coaching, consulting and training and for massage, spa and healing arts professional. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1994 and founded Balance Day Spa in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1996. Felicia sold the business, a fifteen room facility with nearly fifty employees, in 2005.
Felicia currently serves on an advisory board for the Massage Therapy Journal, a publication of the American Massage Therapy Association and EPIC Shows, reviews trade-related textbooks, manuscripts and continuing education materials for MiladySalonovations and Health Positive Inc. She has written for numerous trade publications including Massage Magazine, Massage & Bodywork and Massage Therapy Journal and recently released her first CD, “Just Breathe: Guided Meditations for Inner Peace.†Felicia is also a licensed commercial real estate broker.

Felicia has won numerous awards for her business skills and accomplishments. This includes wins for 2005 Small Business Person of the Year (Greensboro Chamber of Commerce) 2004 Women in Business (Business Journal), 2003 Forty Leaders Under Forty (The Business Journal), 2003 Best Places to Work (for Balance Day Spa), and 2005 Best Spa in Greensboro (Triad Style).
Felicia is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and has lived there for her whole life, except for a three year adventure in Crested Butte, Colorado where she taught kids skiing. Prior to her career as a massage therapist, she also taught figure skating and worked in several restaurants as a staff trainer, waitress and bartender.
In her free time, Felicia enjoys water and snow skiing, dance, running, yoga, reading, cooking, travel, and adventures of most any sort. She also enjoys volunteer work and has worked with the Greensboro Jaycees, Mobile Meals, Triad Health Project, The MS Society, and MDA to name a few. She also has a houseful of pets - 3 dogs and 3 cats - all but one of whom are rescued.
