Two of his textbooks have been listed in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology as one of the top textbooks in 2000, as well as in 2005. Dr. Heuser has nearly 30 patents or pending patents. Dr. Heuser is a member of various honor societies such as Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Omega Alpha, the Gruentzig Society, and is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
