Mary M. Livingston, PhD

Dr. Mary Margaret Livingston holds a MA in Psychology from University of Alabama in Birmingham and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  She is a professor for and the Director of the Human Services Concentration Guidance and Counseling Masters, and she is the Undergraduate Psychology Coordinator at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.  Dr. Mary Livingston is a professor at Louisiana Tech University.  She has taught in the Counseling Master's program since 1977.  The program has evolved with the times from a 33-hour masters degree in 1977 to a program with CACREP accreditation in both school and clinical mental health.  She serves as the director of the Human Services concentration in the Counseling MA, and the undergraduate psychology program coordinator.  She is the Chair of the Human Subjects IRB.  Dr. Livingston is an active researcher with a strong interest in student retention and advising issues, clinical mental health issues, counseling related technology and issues related to ethics in research.     [ Click for More ]
