Rachel Bailey, MS

Rachel Bailey was born in Texas and grew up in the desert of Idaho. She earned her BA in Psychology from Bryan College in Tennessee, graduating in December 2012. After earning her Bachelor's degree, Rachel spent 3 years working in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment facilities for individuals with eating disorders. During her years at these specialty hospitals, Rachel co-authored a book on religious concerns in the recovery of eating disorders, and co-led therapeutic groups in art therapy, wellness, DBT, addictions, and body acceptance. Additionally, Rachel has gained experience working as a therapeutic assistant to help individuals in acute crisis and dissociative episodes with processing their experiences of complex trauma and oppression. Rachel will graduate with her Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2017. During her years at UNC-Greensboro, Rachel continued to enhance her knowledge in multicultural counseling through academic coursework and direct hours working with minority populations in the university counseling center.     [ Click for More ]
