Bernadine Duncan, EdD

Dr. Bernadine Duncan is the Director of Student Counseling Services at Prairie View A&M University where she provides mental health services to the PVAMU student community and serves as adjunct graduate professor in the Educational Leadership and Counseling Department and Juvenile Justice and Psychology Department. She has spent a large portion of her professional life in the field of psychotherapy beginning at Texas A&M University as a counseling psychologist after receiving her doctoral degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had maintained a private practice in downtown Houston for over twenty years. In addition, she has given numerous presentations and workshops on a variety of topics in mental health, male/female relationships, diversity, and multiculturalism. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a licensed supervisor. Finally, Dr. Duncan is the primary advisor of the Eta Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at Prairie View A&M University.     [ Click for More ]
