Emma Schmidt, MA, PC is a professional counselor, licensed through the State of Ohio and is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University's Master of Arts in Counseling program. Emma received her sex therapy education at the Institute for Sexual Wholeness at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she also specialized in women's sexual addiction. She has specialized training in treating sexual addiction, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, sex therapy, victims' advocacy and crisis intervention. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biblical Studies through Cincinnati Christian University. Throughout her life she has had a passion for understanding human sexuality. Her involvement in this field took off when she began volunteering at the non-profit organization Women Helping Women in Cincinnati, where she fell in love with helping people work through their sexual difficulties.
