Angela J. Adams, PhD

Dr. Angela Adams is an Associate Professor of Behavioral Sciences & Counseling Services at the American University of Antigua. She holds a BS in Psychology (University of Alabama at Birmingham - 1989), an MS in Counseling (University of Nevada, Las Vegas - 1992), a PhD in Counseling Psychology (University of Missouri – Columbia - 1999), and an MBA in Strategic Leadership (Amberton University - 2007). Dr. Adams is a Licensed Psychologist (Alabama since 2001 and U.S. Virgin Islands since 2010) and a Board Certified Coach (CCE in 2012) with specialties in Leadership and Personal Coaching. Dr. Adams has almost 15 years of post-doctoral experience that includes counseling, teaching, training, curriculum development, consulting, coaching, and program evaluation. Her experience in academia includes traditional, on-line, and seminar settings training undergraduate, graduate, and medical school students. Since moving to Antigua, she has channeled her passion for service into work with the American University of Antigua’s Community Outreach Program and non-profit organizations servicing the Antiguan community.     [ Click for More ]
