Gina Hassan, PhD

Gina Hassan, Ph.D. has had a private Practice in Berkeley, California since 1993.  She has also worked with individuals, couples, and groups in various other mental health settings to include inpatient, outpatient, and crises intervention clinics. From 1992 to 1994 she was a research associate at the Center for the Family in Transition studying infant-parent attachment. From 1994 to 1997 she taught and supervised students at John F. Kennedy University. While she has worked with a variety of clinical issues, she is passionate about working with women and couples around perinatal and parenting issues, and has completed special training in these areas. She has completed over 62 hours of professional training in perinatal mental health, and has completed teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
