Sherlon P. Brown, PhD

Dr. Sherlon Pack-Brown is a professor emeritus, Bowling Green State University. Currently she is a contributing faculty in the Mental Health Counseling Program, Walden University. Dr. Pack-Brown’s interests include multicultural and diversity competence, social justice, counseling outreach, and culturally intentional, competent, and ethical counselor training and supervision. Her research and clinical work have focused on outreach and counseling among multicultural and diverse populations and communities, particularly with African Americans and African American females. Dr. Pack-Brown has provided culturally intentional, competent, and ethical consultation for a number of local community agencies and programs. She has served as coordinator, chair, and consultant for the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD) Service Day since its inception. AMCD service days have been offered just prior to the American Counseling Association (ACA) national convention in San Francisco, New Orleans, and Pittsburg.     [ Click for More ]
