Michelle Bruno

Dr. Michelle Bruno is Professor of Counseling at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she teaches in both the Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling programs. Dr. Bruno received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education from Chatham College, a M.A. in Community Counseling from The Ohio State University, and Ph.D. in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University. Dr. Bruno has an established research agenda that includes empirical research, regional, state, national presentations, as well as several scholarly publications. Her areas of interest include girls’ issues and empowerment, cyberbullying, adolescent depression, professional development of counselors in training, and mental health issues in schools. Dr. Bruno is currently serving a term as the President of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association and is a licensed professional counselor. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the American School Counselor Association, and The Association for Counselor Education & Supervision.     [ Click for More ]
