Robert Eric Heidel, PhD

R. Eric Heidel, Ph.D. received his doctorate in Counselor Education from the University of Tenenssee, Knoxville in May 2012. He also received an Intercollegiate Graduate Minor in Statistics and a Graduate Certification in Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement. Eric was awarded the Yates Dissertation Fellowship, a $15,000 non-service award, from the University of Tennessee to conduct his dissertation regarding operationalizing and validating the construct of isomorphism in clinical supervisory dyads. After graduation, Eric accepted a faculty appointment at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine (UTGSM) as an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Surgery. He is currently developing, administering, and testing a biostatistical and research design curriculum with residents, fellows, faculty, physicians, and staff at the UTGSM.
