Stephen E. Craig, PhD

Stephen E. Craig, Ph.D. is a professor and unit director of the counselor education program at Western Michigan University. He completed his Ph.D. in counseling and student services at the University of North Texas in 1999. Stephen is the Past-President of the North Central Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, the 13-state regional division of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES). He has previously served as a member of the ACES Governing Council, the ACA Professional Standards Committee, Member-At-Large/Awards Chair for NCACES, President of Michigan ACES, and as a CACREP site-team visitor and chair. Most recently, Stephen has served as a Co-Principal Investigator or Co-Director on over $1 million dollars in grant-funded research and service projects from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth and Michigan Rehabilitation Services. His research and professional interests are focused on counselor training and supervision, Adlerian theory, and professional issues, including the interface of politics and the profession.     [ Click for More ]
