Christopher M. Adams, PhD

Christopher Adams, PhD, is a staff psychologist at East Carolina University's Center for Counseling & Student Development. He received his master's degree in both Marriage & Family and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida and his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University at Buffalo, SUNY.He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Maine, and has written and presented nationally on religious and spiritual issues in counseling. His primary clinical interests are in family of origin issues, identity development, religious/spiritual issues, grief and loss, career development, group counseling, and couples/family therapy.
