Mike Vorster

Mike is the David H. Burrows Professor of Construction Engineering at Virginia Tech, where he has taught in the Vecellio Construction Engineering and Management Program since 1986.

He is a member of the National Academy of Construction and the Virginia Tech Academy of Teaching Excellence. He is also the author of Construction Equipment Economics, a standard handbook on the management of construction equipment fleets.

Mike is the lead presenter at the annual Construction Equipment Management Program and serves as a consultant to several companies, both large and small, in the area of fleet management and organizational development.
