Lanny Harer, CMC, is a Vice President of FMI, management consultants and investment bankers for the construction industry. Lanny has been advising contractors since 1974 on organizational strategies, compensation practices, competitive strategies, business planning, and pricing policies. Lanny has helped numerous clients develop practical strategic plans resulting in improved financial performance, competitive position, and teamwork.

Lanny holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A certified management consultant, he is a past National Secretary of CFMA and has served on the Executive, Strategic Planning, and Leadership Committees.
