2012 ASCeXAM/ReASCE Review Course
April 22, 2012 - April 24, 2012
34 Sessions, 15 Speakers
The American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) has specifically designed the ASCeXAM/ReASCE Review Course as a preparatory course for the National Board of Echocardiography, Inc.™ (NBE) ASCeXAM® and ReASCE® examinations. Lectures given will emphasize illustrative cases and as such will not be “canned talks” from other cardiovascular ultrasound courses. This review course will cover all aspects of cardiovascular ultrasound essential to these examinations, including valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease, congenital heart disease and new technologies.

The expert faculty will use case studies, lectures and interactive sessions to help prepare attendees for the ASCeXAM® or ReASCE® examinations. An Audience Response System and question and answer sessions will facilitate faculty interaction and self-guided learning. The 2012 Review Course has been designed with the computer-based examination administration in mind. There is more case-based learning and increased use of Audience Response Systems to simulate a digital multiple choice examination.

The Physics lectures presented at the ASCeXAM / ReASCE Review Course were not permitted to be included in this product.

THIS COURSE IS SUPPOSED TO FOCUS ON THE BOARD . SHOULD HAVE MORE CASE REVIEWS AND QUESTIONS .
  - Abbas Shehadeh (July 6, 2012)
The course did not meet my expectations at all. ASE was so focused on the schedule that they rushed through all presentations. Dr. Mankad's talk, and the congenital heart disease talks were the best. The rest not that great.
