Dick Dickinson is Sr. Director, Public Safety for TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. Following graduation from the US Military Academy at West Point, Dick Dickinson served in the US Air Force. Recruited to join Telecommunications Systems in 1998, Dick began his career in public safety as an E911 wireless deployment manager. Since then, he has completed thousands of wireless and VoIP E911 deployments and has dealt with all of the many technical challenges that have come and gone as E911 wireless and VoIP technology has evolved. Because of his expertise and wide range of industry contacts, Dick now represents TCS in many industry forums, including NENA, ESIF, APCO, and the E911 Institute. He is also a member of the State E911 Advisory Council in Washington and co-chairs the ESIF Emergency Communications Data Routing Committee. Dick speaks frequently at NENA, APCO, and other industry forums on subjects related to wireless and VoIP E911.
