Dr. David G. Boyd joined the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in March 2003 and serves as the Director of the Science and Technology Directorate's Command, Control and Interoperability Division. In this role, Dr. Boyd is responsible for research and development programs to support command and control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. Before joining DHS, Dr. Boyd served as the Director of Science and Technology for the National Institute of Justice.
