Michael Smith has served in a technology management capacity for four of the major recording companies over the past 25 years. He joined DSS in 2004, and in his capacity as Chief Technologist, is responsible for providing technical guidance for Equature. As a member of the joint APCO/NENA NG 9-1-1 PSAP Working Group, he is deeply involved in producing NG requirements and standards, and speaks frequently on NG subjects.
