"Sandra has been a nurse for over 17 years and 9 of those have been in Nephrology Nursing. She graduated in 1991 from Georgia College & State University with a Masters in Nursing and completed her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2008.
Sandra has been actively involved with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and ANNA, serving as officers in both. She speaks around the country at places like the Mayo Clinic, schools of nursing and professional nursing organizations.
Sandra has served as clinical nurse specialist and Assistant Director of an inpatient dialysis unit and is currently her local ANNA chapter president as well as the ANNA national chair designee for the Health Care Policy Committee. She is certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Family Nurse Practitioner."
