Jane Gardner, DNP, RN

Jane has a healthcare consulting business that focuses predomintately upon making changes in the nurse work environment for improvements in nurse and patient outcomes. She's written a clinical advancement program for nephrology nursing and educates nurses around the country on the importance of the nurse work environment for professional nursing practice in nephrology. Todays presentation is follow up qualitative research to a quantitative study published in NNJ May 2007 that studied the relationships between outpatient hemodialysis nurse's perceptions of the nurse work environment and nurse and patient outcomes.
