Jean Colaneri has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in Renal/Pancreas Transplantation at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, N.Y. since 2006 and prior to this was a Clinical Nurse Specialist in this same area since 1989. Her other past clinical experiences include staff positions in oncology and in adult critical care as well as an instructor in adult medical/surgical and critical care nursing at the Albany Medical Center Hospital School of Nursing. Jean has spoken locally, nationally and internationally on renal and pancreas transplantation and has published articles in the Nephrology Nursing Journal and in Nephrology News and Issues. Most recently, Jean was involved in planning and implementing the ALOHA (A Life of Health and Activity) Program as a research study in the Renal Transplant Program at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. This study was presented by the primary investigator as an oral abstract at the American Transplant Congress this past June in Boston.
