Hot List from National Symposium 2013 At the 2013 National Symposium, we heard "that session was so good" so many times that we thought we'd put four of our most popular sessions together for you to enjoy. "Changing The Way We Think, Prescribe, and Deliver Hemodialysis" was an eye-opening presentation by Dr. Tom Parker that made many of us wonder why we were not looking at this issue differently all along. There was standing room only in the "Pitter Patter: Atrial Fibrillation" session. Recent information on catheters, infection rates, and the nurse's role in infection reduction also was very timely for the nephrology nurse. Finally, "Regenerative Medicine: Innovations to Treat Kidney Disease" addressed current research and the potential future of patient care. You could hear a pin drop during this presentation! Cutting edge is the best way to describe these sessions. Listen and learn.
