Terry M. Foster, MSN, RN, FAEN, CCRN, CPEN, CEN

Over Terry Foster’s almost 40-year career in nursing, he has held positions of ward clerk, staff nurse, charge nurse, critical-care instructor, clinical director, and night supervisor at the Mercy Hospitals of Cincinnati in Ohio and at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Kentucky. Terry currently works as a Critical-Care Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Emergency Departments at St. Elizabeth’s, where he also coordinates the Code Blue and Rapid Response teams.

Over the past 4 years, Terry has been featured in six episodes of TLC’s program “Untold Stories of the ER.” He is the first RN to ever be featured on this physician-only based television show.

Terry is a well-known author and speaker, addressing both nursing humor as well as clinical topics. He was the recipient of the Judith Kelleher award given by the national Emergency Nurses Association and was inducted as a Fellow into the Academy of Emergency Nursing.
