Deb Sellers, MS, RN, is the director of a 30 bed medical-surgical unit at lehigh Valley Health Network. The organization is an academic, community health Network with three clinical campuses and a total of 988 beds. It has been designated as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2002.
Ms. Sellers has been the director of her current unit for 13 years, with responsibility for 43 full time equivalent staff members. She is a member of the Academy of Medical Surgical Nursing and the associared local chapter. Within Lehigh Valley Health Network, she is a leader on the Skin Integrity Task Force, Network-wide Ethics Committee, Pastoral Care Advisory Board.
