Claribel Sawyerr holds a dual masters in community/public health nursing and public health, and is a certified public health clinical nurse specialist. She is currently a senior nurse educator at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. She also serves as adjunct clinical instructor for Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Sciences. She has a clinical background in medical-surgical and cardiac nursing. Ms. Sawyerr's areas of interests include health policy, health disparities, nursing education policy, and patient safety and quality.
