Tamara is an RN, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Board Certified by the ANCC in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) since 2006. She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), employed by the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute, a division of Scripps Health Care in La Jolla, CA.
She is the In Patient CNS in Diabetes, working with the 5 Scripps Hospitals to implement best practices for patients with glycemic needs, and serves as a clinical resource to the in patient educators, as well as to other staff.
