Anne Ryder, BS

Anne Ryder is a journalist, writer and speaker. President of Ryder Media LLC, she was the longest tenured anchor in the history of the Indianapolis NBC affiliate and she writes for an international magazine based in Italy. Anne's reporting has taken her all over the world, from war-time Bosnia to the Kosovo-Albanian refugee camps. She has interviewed peacemakers, including the Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa. It was the final interview the nun gave before her death.

Anne's stories of hope, faith and the resilience of the human spirit have earned her 16 regional Emmy awards and 5 national honors, including 2 Edward R Murrow awards. She is the youngest inductee to the Indiana Broadcast Hall of Fame. The Indiana Governor granted her the highest citizens award the state bestows.

A medical emergency prompted Anne to step away from 25 years in the fast lane. She left her TV job in search of balance with her daughter and husband. Anne is a fervent supporter of the nursing profession and speaks to nurses all over the country.     [ Click for More ]
