Debra Castner has 34 years of nephrology nursing experience which includes clincial, management, and education of nurses, technicians and patients. She has expertise in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, post renal transplant care, CKD management, and end of life care. Her experience includes numerous professional presentations, journal articles, and text book contributions. She has served as a past member of the CEAB committee, Ethics committee and ANNA board of directors. She is certified as a nephrology nurse, acute care nurse practitioner, and has a certificate in palliative care from Villanova University. She was one of the contributors for the revision of the new ANNA Standards of Practice.
