Barbara Zarowitz, PharmD is the Chief Clinical Officer and Vice President of Professional Services for Omnicare, Inc. and Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy and Health Professions, Wayne State University and the University of Michigan. Dr. Zarowitz is responsible for creating the clinical programs for Omnicare, Inc., and developing strategies to manage drug utilization including formulary management and clinical pharmacy services. Omnicare provides care for 1.4 million elderly nursing home residents and publishes the Geriatric Pharmaceutical Care Guidelines annually.
