Ronald Crossno, MD, CMD is a National Medical Director for Odyssey Healthcare and is the program medical director for VistaCareHospice in Temple, TX. Dr. Crossno received his medical degree in San Antonio. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and holds Certificates of Added Qualification in Geriatric Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. He is active in state and national hospice, geriatric, and long term care organizations, frequently presenting on topics in these fields. He is President-Elect of the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine’s Board of Directors, and he has represented AAHPM as its Alternate Delegate to the American Medical Association, and is a member of both the AAHPM and National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization’s Public Policy Committees. He is a Certified Medical Director through AMDA, and serves on the AMDA Ethics Committee. Dr. Crossno is the Immediate-Past President of the Texas Medical Directors Association.
