Meenakshi Patel, MD, FACP, MMM, CMD

Meenakshi Patel, MD, CMD is a graduate of Bombay University, She did her residency in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and is board certified in Internal Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine and has her Certification of added Qualifications in Geriatrics. She is a Certified Medical Director and has her Masters in Medical Management. She has served as the chair of the Dept. of Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital and is currently Director of Geriatrics at that institution. She is Assoc. Prof., at Wright State University and is the Medical Director at three large nursing facilities and also serves as an assoc. Medical Director at the Hospice of Dayton. She serves on the Board for the Alzheimer’s Association and is actively involved in clinical research in various disease states. She is the president of the Ohio Medical Directors Association and has been the program chair for their annual meeting for the past three years.
