Karl E. Steinberg, MD, CMD is a full-time SNFologist at Scripps Coastal Medical Center in San Diego, serves as medical director of two skilled nursing facilities and a hospice, and is Editor-in-Chief of Caring for the Ages. He is also President and CEO of Stone Mountain Medical Associates, Inc., a medicolegal consulting company. Dr. Steinberg serves on multiple AMDA committees and is Immediate Past President of California's AMDA chapter (CALTCM), and takes his dogs to work every day.
