Margaret Baumgarten, MD is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Residency Program Director of Portsmouth Family Medicine Residency Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has a background in private practice and joined the Family Medicine faculty at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2006, working and teaching in ambulatory, hospital and long-term care settings. Dr. Baumgarten has special interest in the primary care and geriatric aspects of chronic kidney disease and hypertension.
