Meri Hix, PharmD, is Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy and is a clinical pharmacist in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. She completed a pharmacy residency in geriatrics in 2004 at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock, AR, and is a certified geriatric pharmacist. At Midwestern, she lectures in pharmacotherapeutics and geriatrics courses in the pharmacy curriculum on topics ranging from pain management to renal disease. She currently serves as the residency program director for Midwestern's PGY2 Pharmacotherapy residency.
