William Simonson, PharmD, CGP is an independent consultant pharmacist and was formerly a faculty member at Oregon Health & Sciences University Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine. He is the author of two books and more than 100 articles dealing with medication use and misuse in the elderly. Si is a Past President of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and is the Immediate Past Chair of the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy. He has also been a member of the AMDA Clinical Practice Guideline Steering Committee.
