Leslie Libow, MD, CMD is now Distinguished Clinical Professor at the Jewish Home and Hospital Life Care System and Professor of Geriatrics and Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He created the first Board approved Residency and Fellowship in Geriatrics in the United States and developed an Academic Nursing Home model. Dr. Libow is co-founder of the Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has nurtured for the past 2 decades the clinical, teaching and research programs at the Jewish Home and Hospital LifeCare Systems.
