Fernando Martinez in his role as Vice President Business Development at PharmaNet/i3 (inVentiv Health), is responsible for the growth in emerging markets with a current focus on Asia Pacific. Prior to his current position, Dr. Martinez acted as Executive Director Global Operations at inVentiv Clinical Solutions being responsible for worldwide operations, including the oversight of global strategic alliances, as well as leading further efforts in corporate development. Over the years, Mr. Martinez held positions of increasing responsibility, gaining significant operational and commercial experience in several top-ten global CROs. Throughout his career, Mr. Martinez has been an active member in the international clinical research community, being a cofounder of the German and Spanish chapters and a currently acting as a member of the strategy board (AboT) at the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).
