Nancy May currently holds the position of Chief Nursing Officer for the University Medical Management Group and Ambulatory Care. She began working at the University of Michigan in September 2015 with more than 40 years’ experience in nursing administration and clinical practice. Nancy began her nursing career at Cleveland Clinic in medical-surgical nursing. She moved into nursing administration and served as a nursing director of both acute and ambulatory care at several different institutes. In 2011 she accepted a chief nursing officer position with Baylor Scott and White in Texas. Nancy is responsible for nursing practice and standards for ambulatory care under the Ambulatory Care Unit structure, including advance practice registered nurses, registered nurses and license practical nurses. Nursing care is provided at over 150 ACU resulting in over 2 million visits annually.

Nancy received her BSN from Bowling Green State University and her MSN from the University of Akron, and she is currently enrolled in a DNP program with the University of Alabama.     [ Click for More ]
