Tom Hartley has served as a professional nurse for more than 27 years since completing a BSN through the University of North Carolina System. His education also includes a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration and a diploma from the US Army Command and General Staff College where he now serves as faculty and a Primary Instructor in the graduate program. He is currently enrolled in the nursing doctoral program at the University of Miami’s School of Nursing and Health Studies with completion anticipated December 2011.

He has served in a variety of leadership roles including Associate Director of the Women’s Hospital at Lexington Medical Center, Director of Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina, Director of McLeod Children’s Hospital, Vice President of McLeod Health, and Administrator (CEO) of the Wilson Medical Center in South Carolina.
