Margarita has a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Utah and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a Health Care Management focus and is Certified in Ambulatory Nursing. She is an Operations Manager for Mayo Clinic in Arizona and has worked in the Department of Neurology and currently in Department of Family Medicine. She was the 2005 recipient of the Mayo Clinic Individual Award for Service Excellence and has been a previous presenter at the AAACN Annual meeting.
