This session provideS an update of selected provisions of health care reform on ambulatory care delivery systems and respondS to the questions: 1) how will ambulatory care delivery change, 2) what are the roles for RNs in relation to health care reform provisions, and 3) how will these RN roles impact ambulatory care quality and outcomes?

  • Discuss the impact of selected provisions of health care reform on ambulatory care delivery.
  • Describe roles for ambulatory care nurses in relation to health care reform provisions.
